Was hesitant in coming here because I usually try to not fall for the wagyu everything gimmicks and my general rule for viet restaurants is to go for the ones with numbers in their name (lol). Pho Akaushi broke my stereotypes and got my Viet stamp of approval! I did not regret ending my day here. The owner (Michael I think) was so friendly, welcoming and funny!! Did you know they specialize in all you can drink water?!? He gave me and my boyfriend complimentary watermelon juice which was soooo refreshing. Michael made us feel like family. The butter fried chicken was so so crispy and juicy. We got the wagyu pho the one without the bone and it was delicious. The wagyu with the pho broth made it even richer. The large bowl was decently priced at $21 (with wagyu!!) and came with a generous portion of meat which me and my boyfriend was able to share. Service was great, usually in asian restaurants you get left alone and usually only given the bare minimum service- which I do not mind! I'm an introvert so I like my peace but here they had great service and somehow weren't overstepping at all. Whenever we needed something it was fulfilled promptly. They were a step ahead of us too with bringing me a bowl to split my pho before I even asked. I don't go out to eat pho since moving away from norcal and I do live far from the OC but Pho Akaushi has both me and my boyfriend's hearts. We will be coming back!

Wow, best broth I've had since living in the OC. The server which seemed like the owner, was very nice and took his time. Made us feel welcome. Inside is real cozy, everything was clean. The broth was so flavorful. Meat was tender. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Once again. Best pho place I've been too

I have been here many times and have always enjoyed the quality of this Pho! I would recommend it to anyone who is a PHO enthusiast !

Had the best Pho ever here. Ordered the house special, rib cube and shrimp. They offered 2 types of noodles. I couldn't understand so I went with whatever was most popular and it was the fresh noodles. I'm glad I did because the noodles were delicious. It was very different from any other place I have had and I have been to quite a few different pho spots. The broth was different too. Everything about their pho was enjoyable. The place is really small. They do have a restroom and it is inside the kitchen. Their service wasn't the best which is typical at Asian restaurants. They were definitely understaffed. We waited 40 mins. for the food to come out so be prepared to wait. Usually, at other pho restaurants, our food comes out really quickly. Their large is not that big. I would say their large is more a regular size anywhere else but hey you gotta pay for quality. Definitely stop by!

Incredibly delicious pho with such soft cuts of meat! I had a really great experience speaking with one of the managers here during my visit. The passion and the craft of creating such a layered broth really shines through. A no frills, all around delicious pho noodles with a nice layered broth and excellent cuts of meat. The Wagyu was super tender and perfectly cooked!

Good pho! Flavorful and robust, meat plentiful, and different bowl sizes to choose from. Garlic Butter fried wings was really good too, very crispy! Highly recommend.

really good service/food/drinks!! very friendly and affordable authentic food!! drinks are also made with crushed ice i like those a lot more than ice cubes lol!

Great pho and great service! We came back after several years and the taste is the same!

Friends said this was their favorite pho place so I tried it out. It's a small shop along a line of shops in a plaza. Plenty of parking in the plaza although we did come on a late afternoon on a Sunday. You go inside and someone comes out the kitchen to seat you. They give water jugs which is nice. Super nice lady takes our order. Super nice head chef Tony comes out and explains the quality of food a bit. Great conversationalist and great service. Got to say the #15 wagyu tai I ordered was really good. The meat tasted so good and was so tender. The broth was a perfect level of saltiness and lightness. I'm not into sweet broth so this was perfect, I don't like phoholic btw because the broth is too sweet. Unfortunately they ran out of the rib cubes but I'll definitely try that next time I'm back. Broth was so good I took my friend's broth home. This was the first time I didn't add too much hoisin sauce so I could keep the taste authentic. I usually will add a lot because I like my noodles tasting like it, I know I'm disgusting. Ordered eggrolls as well and they were super crispy and the filling was good. They give you hi-chews when you finish. You pay at the front and they take cash, card, credit, ebt, and Apple Pay too. Overall would definitely come back for sureeeee.
